She is a multiple certified advanced ThetaHealing® practitioner, has been trained since birth as a second generation astrologer and for over a decade formally in the School of Evolutionary Astrology. Kira has been implementing and studying Process Oriented and Jungian Psychology since 2009. She has been a certified practitioner of Shamanic/Transformational Breathwork since 2013, a Yoga Alliance certified teacher under Denise Payne specializing in Yin Yoga, a student of Dr. Anodea Judith's program "Psychology of the Chakras", and Reiki trained in her home of New York City. For over 24 years, he has traveled the path of indigenous medicine and spirituality, working alongside his elder teachers and supporting communities in Mexico with traditional healing. His fascination and keen awareness of the psyche and understanding of the need for ancestral shamanic approaches in today’s world drives his passion to share elements of his experience with the world.
He has been a student of Manuel and Lupe Garcia, respected Zapotec healers of the Oaxacan highlands and general directors of the State Congresses of Traditional and Alternative Medicine of Oaxaca; Angela Mendez, Zapotec healer, author and respected herbalist; Tata Carlos Morales, Maya Ajq’ij ; and Tata Julio Reyes Aguilar and Nana Maria Eugenia Aguilar Castro (Nobel Peace Prize nominee) , recognized ajq'ij and activists.
Alejandro has worked to spread wisdom, spirituality and indigenous culture through different media with institutions such as: Fundación Dondé, Festival Cumbre Tajín / PUIC UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México), Fundación Justicia y Género. n.

Can I skip the application process and just book right away to hold my spot?
No, all clientele have the opportunity to speak with our team to ensure it's the right fit!
Is each RISE different? What makes OAXACA: LOS MUERTOS different?
Yes, each RISE is curated differently this is part of what makes is such a unique and special opportunity to attend. This particular RISE takes place over DIA DE LOS MUERTOS , which means "Day of the Dead". This is an ancient tradition in Mexican culture that is in deep reverence to their ancestors. See above for more legendary tales.
Is RISE women only?
No, RISE is open to all genders/sexes!
Is the coast of Oaxaca Safe?
Yes! You will feel comfortable walking around the puebla with ease. As always when traveling, use common sense.
What is the nearest airport?
HUX and PXM are the codes for Hualtuco and Puerto Escondido. NOT OAX - which is Oaxaca City and much further away. The most efficient way to travel to Mexico is to connect through MEX (Mexico City) and take a local connecting flight to the coast. We are not responsible if you fly into the wrong airport.
Are meals included?
Yes. You will have 2-3 out on your own to experience the local cuisine when you have free time.
Is RISE refundable in case of emergency?
Due to the nature of retreats, this is a non refundable. Your payment MAY POSSIBLY ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS be credited to other Panther Process Experiences incl. 1:1's with proof of emergency.
