One of my favorite Scorpio traits is Obsession. It can have a nasty ring to it...a judgement placed upon our willful desire to consume something so deep inside of us we lose clear sight of our surroundings. When we call it "Passion" it has a connotation of Love in deep devotion, when its dark and destructive it morphs into "Obsession". Why? It's actually not the literal thing we are obsessing about that is so scary, its what we love inside of it we are afraid of. It's not about the thing or person or place, it's about how it makes us FEEL - a link to our true desire nature. It's a path to our authentic self, and what we value. Not what we think we should , what we actually do. "...Resist it, and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden to itself, with desire for what its monstrous laws have made monstrous and unlawful.” - Oscar Wilde How much self inflicted trauma do we take on from holding back? From discovering the true meaning behind why we crave? It's not about the job you want, who we want to f**k, or the piece of food we want to eat off our diet sheet... so give in and give up control and see what happens. Let your heart pound and body shake in the Fear of letting go. Go all the way and risk your sanity. Use it as a conduit to your Venus Values, and this retrograde in Scorpio to let yourself go enraptured by what you crave and see for yourself the dark parts inside you that are waiting to integrate a new perspective on what makes you happy. If we touch what we Fear, we grow.
